FROM CHECKLIST TO ACTION

Make the review useful.

  1. 01

    Look at the work.

Review the workplace with the people who do the tasks. A tick on a form is not evidence that a control is effective.

  2. 02

    Choose the priorities.

Record what needs attention and assess the risks. Address immediate danger promptly rather than waiting for the checklist to be finished.

  3. 03

    Follow through.

Assign an owner and a review date for each action. Check that the change works in practice and update your records.
